Creative Team
Vijay
Vijay is the support system for Aakriti Dance Academy. He is part of the academy's Think Tank coming up with ideas and solutions to various logistical and execution challenges. Through his photography and video editing skills he ensures that the academy maintains an active online presence with various dance reels and videos. During the shows, he is the man behind the music for each of the dances. You can also find him at the ticketing booth, or ushering the crowd into their seats, and if you are lucky you can also catch a glimpse of him dancing on stage! All in all, a versatile and true unsung hero of the dance academy! In his free time, Vijay loves to binge watch various Indian web series, or analyze all formats of cricket matches played anywhere around the world.
Ronil
Ronil is a phenomenal, dedicated, individual helping with stage management that has completely turned around our shows into an audience delight with high production quality! With his calm demeanor and his perfectionist attitude, he identifies a method in the madness when it comes to show production. Our shows could not have been any tighter without him.
Mehera
Mehera is very friendly, passionate and talented! She loves to dabble in graphic design and you can see her amazing creativity in all of Aakriti Dance Academy's posters. Mehera is Lavanya's younger cousin and enjoys exploring various creative aspects and help put forth amazing shows! She was the brilliant story teller for our latest dance show Des Rangeela. Mehera graduated from UC Hastings and practices law in Seattle.
Pranaya
Pranaya has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She is a trained kathak dancer and loves learning all forms of dance. Her areas of specialty include classical, semi-classical, Bollywood, and Bollyfusion styles. Pranaya started choreographing when she was 12 years old and even opened her own studio in high school. She became a local celebrity in her hometown in Colorado and performed for many weddings, parties, and even formal college events!
