Pranaya - Youth Board Advisor
Pranaya has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She is a trained kathak dancer and loves learning all forms of dance. Her areas of specialty include classical, semi-classical, Bollywood, and Bollyfusion styles. Pranaya started choreographing when she was 12 years old and even opened her own studio in high school. She became a local celebrity in her hometown in Colorado and performed for many weddings, parties, and even formal college events!
Dhruv - Youth Board Advisor
Dhruv is a freshman at UW and has been part of dance shows since the age of 5. He enjoys dancing to K-Pop, hip-hop and Indian Bollywood songs. He has organized various dance and fitness workshops and raised funds for NPOs. While not dancing, Dhruv enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, solving Sudoku and math puzzles, or following NFL / NCAA Basketball tournaments.
Rhea - President
Rhea brings a lively mix of Bhangra, hip hop, and Bollywood to her choreography, making every class fun, dynamic, and engaging. She teaches with clarity and patience, breaking down steps so her students feel confident and excited to learn.
A part of Aakriti for 12 years, she has blossomed into a leader who teaches with maturity, passion, and purpose. With her perfect balance of grace, energy, and joy, Rhea inspires every dancer she works with.

Avyukta
Avi Gella is a freshman at high school with a profound passion for speech, history, fashion, and especially dance. Dance is a particular love of Avi's, creating a deep connection to music. She has won Ms. Intellectual at the 2023-2024 India Washington Pageant among 40 contestants aged 13 to 40+, making her the youngest person to win it at 13.
Ishika
Problem-solver by day, dancer by night, Ishika is a freshman at Lakeside school. She's a math enthusiast who loves tackling problems. Outside of school, dance is her passion! She has been dancing since the age of 5, and now she even creates her own choreography. Always learning, always passionate, Ishika enjoys helping her friends grasp concepts and solve problems together.
